Just stumbled upon your site by chance. What a great idea. I've already tried different words/expressions in different languages & it worked great. Thanks &, please, keep up the good work!
Pretty nice...My girlfriend from Cuba gets a kick outta me trying. But this site has been the best yet. Pretty accurate and if she says so, latin temperament and all...I agree. lol
I was very pleased with your site until I discovered the "similar translations" offered for the french expression "Bébé est né" which means "baby is born"
Here is the copy I made :
"How to say bébé est né in Detected language: french Choose a language below to translate bébé est né ........... Learn how to say bébé est né in many languages. Similar Translations Mon bébé est sans aucun doute la merde Mon bébé est sans aucun doute la merde"
The translations are very accurate from Italian to English and back, much better than Babelfish. One improvement I'd like to see is a larger typing area to allow for translation of longer phrases, similar to Babelfish's interface. Thanks for the great tool!
well i love this site bcoz i want to learn each & every language of the world & especially the basics of every language bcoz i have to interact with people from different countries so it help me alot............thanks to adminstrators of this site......you guys really doing a great job keep it up........is there any capacity for Pashto to be on this list....
I like it a lot. However, is it possible to make it where there is a speech part. I'm trying to learn Korean, so to be able to hear how the word or phrase is pronounced would be great. thanx =D
I think it is very cool and iy can help me a lot with my korean friends and i do a spanish class so now i can be ahead of everybody else :)however, i think you should put like a voice on it so we can hear how to say it would be soo cool to..... thanks bii <3
there are lot of errors in translations. For example I tested "do you speak German" in different languages. The translations into Polish and Russian are wrong, Italian and Romanian are missing (the English translation appears). But: a nice idea!!
In my opinion the idea is good. But, some of the translations into German are really poor, some more and some less faithful to the original and some simply false, e.g.: "Where are you from? = Auf woher kommst du?" should be "Woher kommst du?" "Cupcake = TasseKuchen" should be "Törtchen"
Hello.I love this site,you did an amazing job. I like it because it's simple.That's the best way.But recently,from I don't know what reason,my browser,doesn't let me access it :(
It's the only site I trust to do my translations. However it would be really helpful if there was an audio tool, so you could hear it. So you know its what you're looking for.
I think this site is very useful and efficient. One suggestion is this. I notice that when I use a common phrase in English and translate it to Chinese or Russia run it backwards to see how it translates back to English, more often than not it says something completely different. it would be very useful if the original English input phrase was checked for viability and came up in red if it was not directly translatable with a suggestion for the closest phrase.
hi.. very nice site.. it's quite helps me... sometimes it's a wrong grammar.. hehehehe... no filipino translation? and farsi/persian? i like it very much your site because i can translate a sentence.. very good!!! 2 thumbs up... now i'm everyday checking your site.. i learned a lot of things! so amazing!!! some of my friends surprise ans asked me why i can speak a lot of languages.. hahaha!
Hi :) it's a very nice site!!! and very good idea. I've seen that some words are still not translated so I just tell you that in Polish: I love you -> Kocham cię (I'm Pole so don't worry about mistakes) And about "happy birthday" we are not saying it that short, the most similar expression is: "Best wishes on your birthday" which in Polish it is -> "Wszystkiego najlepszego w dniu urodzin"
Excuse me, am I missing something here? I can't seem to activate the how to SAY (phonetic spelling of the correct pronunciation of phrases in their native tongues) feature. I only see written translations. Help please.
AS LIKE IF I TYPE " MY NAME IS KHAN " AND I WANT TO HAVE IN CHINESE OR BALKAN LANGUAGE SO IT TRANSLATED IN RELATED LANGUAGE BY USING ITS ALPHABET AND WAY OF WRITING THEN I CAN'T READ CHINESE OR ANY OTHER SO THAT'S WHY YOUR SITE SOMETIMES OR MOSTLY USELESS FOR ME
I SHOULD SAY IT'S A GOOD WEBSITE AND I AM HAPPY TO USE THIS AND PLZ ADD URDU LANGUAGE ALSO PLZ BECAUSE LANGUAGES ARE LANGUAGES AND I JUST KNOW URDU AND SOME ENGLISH SO PLZ KINDLY CONCERN ON MY REQUEST . THANKS
plz give create account / sign up option for this website to save and constantly connect with your site to seek language in a proper way plz consider my opinion . khan
Just discovered this site. I think the whole concept is very good and I had always been dreaming of such a place to interact. I wish this site becomes more meaningful if we are able to get some friends who can talk to each other or just chat, that is when you start learning a language from each other. So anyone who is good in French want to become a friend! I would love to meet that person!
I recently finished my IB diploma in college, I think this site is great and I'll definitely be telling my friends about it!
Some of my friends were foreign, and don't have the best English, this site would definitely help them.
I have read from some other posts that a like and dislike feature has been added, however... This could end up like "urban dictionary". That's what worries me... I don't know... But maybe you could have simple symbols or tags for people who are trusted posters for more reliable phrases/results? Moderators? Some sort of indication would be great. Thank you (:
kewl site thx

Good site! Pity that half of the Russian phrases is intentionally corrupted with use of dirty lexicon. Vadim, Moscow.

Hi Shay,
ReplyDeleteHappy for your degree in college, and thank you for your nice words.
Well like dislike feature is for to eliminate bad and good translations actually, i should change it, good or bad.
cheers.
